Levels of godhood


After reaching the immortal levels, also called wizard levels, you will
have access to different types of commands. Those will allow you to do
things that were not available when you were still mortal.
There are 10 wizard levels and you gain more and more commands as you raise in
the hierarchy of gods.

L51 & L52 : they have access to the basic commands, WHERE, WHO, GOTO, etc...
level 53 : can start building a zone (but without mobs and objects)
level 54 : can finish a zone, add mobs, objects and special procedures
level 55 : Coder of the Nexus Language
level 56 : Supervisor of the planes
level 57 : Honorific title for supervisors
level 58 : supervisors, any problems...questions...ask them (opening zones)
level 59 : coding the game without crashes
level 60 : Aldur is busy!

To get a list of the commands available for your level, type WIZHELP.

To advance or lower someone. (Wizard command)


Hey! Do you really want to raise your levels with advance ? *laugh*
If you want this command ... better forget it ... :)

Echo some text in a room (Wizard command)


This command sends the text of its argument to everyone in the same
room as the wizard.

Note: The wizard gets no feedback and does not see the message.

Force someone to do something (Wizard command)


This command force someone to do something. It won't work on a higher
level.

If you don't want to be attacked by mobs (Wizard command)


A wizard may (is supposed to) set this upon themselves to prevent mobiles
from attacking them.

Shutdown or reboot the game (Wizard command)


Why do you want close Nexus ?

If you want this command ... better forget it ... :)

To get info about room, mob, items (Wizard command)


stat <player>
stat <mobile>
stat <object>

Allows you to see all the characteristics of a player, a mobile or an
object. Also useful to know the attributes of a room.

Note: This is restricted knowledge, don't give it away!

To switch into a mob and play it (Wizard command)


Allows you to enter in the body of any NPC (non player char) and act for them.
Be careful when using this command. If you want to attack players, always
act in a way that fit the monster's attitude toward life. Only aggressive
monsters would attack a player first anyway. You can kill a player in this
fashion, but never persecute a player. Any abuse of this command will be
punished.

" The wizards private communication channel (Wizard command)


What people are supposed to do before they do something. Gods also have
the uncanny ability to let other gods know what they are thinking
via this command.

List of commands you can use (Wizard command)


List the privileged commands available to you.

To modify text on a mob or item (Wizard command)


For changing the text-strings associated with objects and characters. The
format is:

string <type> <name> <field> [<string> | <keyword>]

Type is either 'obj' or 'char'.
Field is one of the following (the names may be abreviated):
Name (the call-name of an obj/char - kill giant)
Short (for inventory lists (objs) and actions (chars))
Long (for when obj/character is seen in room)
Title (for players)
Description (For look at. For objs, must be followed by a keyword)
Delete-description (only for objs. Must be followed by a keyword)

Where a string is expected as the last argument, a new line will appear, making
you enter a string mode, and the game will prompt you for new lines to
the string until you exceed the maximum length for the string or you
end a line with a '@'.

Load items and mobs in the game (Wizard command)


For loading new objects or mobiles from the database. The format is:
load <type> <number>
Where <type> is either 'obj' or 'mob', and number is the number of the object
or mobile you wish to create.

God's sneak (Wizard command)


Gods use this to sneak into a room withoout their bamfin and bamfout
messages apprearing. Mortals usually wish they could do this, but so
far none have been able to.

Text when entering a room (Wizard command)


Bamfin <bamf definition>
Additional arguments can include ~N for where you
Want your name (if you want your name). If you use
~H, it puts in either his or her depending on your
sex. If you use the keyword 'def' for your bamf,
it turns on the default bamf.

Text when leaving a room (Wizard command)


Bamfout <bamf definition>
Additional arguments can include ~N for where you
Want your name (if you want your name). If you use
~H, it puts in either his or her depending on your
sex. If you use the keyword 'def' for your bamf,
it turns on the default bamf.

To get internal messages from the game (Wizard command)


This command will set a god's severity levels. Basically, at 0 you get
all wiz messages. As you increase your severity level, you get fewer and
fewer of the log messages until they are filtered out completely.

To clean a room, a char or a mob (Wizard command)


A way to make the world a little cleaner.
Usage:
purge To empty a room of monsters and objects.
purge <character> To remove a living thing. Kicks out a player.
purge <object> Figure this one out yourself.


Note: Any abuse of this command will be punished. Don't whine later on that you
didn't know "purge <character>" would cut a player's link.

List of users (Wizard command)


(wizard command)

Tells you who is logged on to the game, and where they are playing from.

To forbid someone to shout (Wizard command)


Prevents you from (or allows you to) hearing shouts, if used with no
arguments. It can be used with the name of a player, to prevent him/her
from hearing shouts, as well as from shouting. Can only be used by
certain more powerful beings.

Note: Any abuse of this command will be punished. If you have to use it on
a player, please document your action on the immo board at [R2] or notify
Polynya.

To restore mana, hit point... (Wizard command)


If used on a mortal, this command will reset that players mana and
hit points. If used on an Immortal various values will be reseted to
their proper values.

Note: After gaining imortality or any new immo level you will need to get a
restore from one of the higher gods. This will allow you to use all the
skills and spells offered by the game...and many other things.

To transfer someone in a room (Wizard command)


This wizard command moves a character into the same room with the
wizard. You can also transfer monsters with this command, but be
careful when using this command near aggressive monsters. Getting a
player killed is NOT good form.

trans Loki (you better have a good reason)
trans 4.lamia (this monster is aggressive, watch it)
at 0 trans PlayerKiller (send this person to Void.)

To go to a room or to someone (Wizard command)


This wizard command allows you to move about without walking. You
can either supply a room Vnumber, a player name, a monster name
(lamia, 34.lamia), or an object name (corpse, 5.corpse). You will
disappear and reappear in the target room.

If a room is flagged PRIVATE only high and powerful beings have access to
it. It's not flagged PRIVATE for nothing, you know! But you can always try to
get an inhabitant to TRANSFER you in.

To locate items, mobs or players (Wizard command)


This command allows you to know where all players are at the time being. It's
very useful at some times, when you want to find someone. It also allows you
to find objects or mobiles by their names.

To do a command in another room (Wizard command)


This command is used to execute commands at a ditance. It is very useful to
do commands without standing in the room.
The AT comand needs an attribute to tell it where to execute the command. The
attribute can be a player name, a mobile name or an object.
exemple: at Toto kiss Toto

To spy one someone communications (Wizard command)


This allows you to know what some else is doing, to read his (her) messages
as if you were him (her).

To log someone's actions in a file (Wizard command)


This allows one of the higher gods to record your every move and save them
into a file for further use.

To create a template for a mob or item (Wizard command)


This is a building command that allows you to create template, where other
gods will be able to save their newly created mobs and objects.

Funny stuff (Wizard command)


A very cute way gods have to say hello to each other. Mortals suffer in
jealousy when you do that to them.

Info about the data bases (Wizard command)


This gives you a list of the zones, rooms in the different zones, objects
in the zone or mobiles in the zone. Very useful for building.

Editing of the zone file (Wizard command)


This is mostly a building command.

Send something to every one (Wizard command)


This allows the higher being of Nexus to send a message to all the players
currently logged in.

Reroll someone stats (Wizard command)


This is self explanatory, it seems!

Send something to every one (Wizard command)


This is a very neat command that allows gods who do not have system to
send messages to all users. Thier name will appear, telling the players who
is sending the echo.

Modify stats of a player or mob (Wizard command)


This is a special command that allows some of the higher gods to change
almost any attribute of a character. To get a list of what can be changed
type "%".

Note: Giving your pet character a 25 in strength would not be a good idea, as
any abuse will be punished.
