NexusMud help : race

Introduction


In this Topic, i will describ the abilities and history of each of
the playable race.

Those races will be regouped in two groups :

1) The "good" races (human, dwarf, elf, halfling, gnome)

2) The "evil" races (orc, giant, lizardman)

This distinction is mostly done for the rules on the player-killing. It
don't mean that all humans are good or all orcs evil....

In a near futur, races may well shift of group toward another one, based
on the action of players.
For exemple, if the dwarfs become in war against the humans, the two races
will be considered as "evil" toward each other (but not toward the other
races) and may PK freely between themselve.

Human

  | Originaly, humans came from the long lost kingdom of Rhyodin, far to    |
  | the east, on the other side of the Great Eastern Desert. They founded   |
  | the town of DaggerFord in year 0, begining the history of the west.     |

Elf

  | Str:  0 | The most commonly found Elvens in the know world, comes from  |
  | Int:  0 | a small kingdom in the Elven Forest, between the town of      |
  | Wis:  0 | DaggerFord and the Eastern Mountains. It's rumored that they  |
  | Dex: +1 | originaly came from a great Elven kingdom but it's location   |
  | Con: -1 | isn't know.                                                   |
  | Chr:  0 | When humans comming from the Rhyodin first met them, a        |
  |---------+ friendly relation-ship began between the two races, mostly    |
  | based on the commerce. They became ally during the great Giantish       |
  | wars against the army of Goblins and Giants comming from the mountains  |
  | to the north. The destruction brought by those wars resulted in the     |
  | waste plains, a hostil region often raided by Giants.                   |

Dwarf

  | Str:  0 | The race of Dwarf is very ancient. They dwell in the Kingdom  |

  | Dex: -1 | They were in good relation with the kingdom of Rhyodin to     |
  | Con: +1 | whom they were selling some of the best weapons in the world. |
  | Chr:  0 | After that the road to the Rhodin was cut, they stayed in     |
  |---------+ buisness with the humans of DaggerFord.                       |

  | Dwarfs are constantly at war with the Orcs of the Eastern Mountains.    |
  | The caves under the mines of Kor-Karil are rumored to be connected      |
  | with the Orcish city far in the Eastern Mountain.                       |

Giant

  | Dex:  0 | the north of the waste plains. Although they lost the Giantish|
  | Con:  0 | wars against the army of humans, elfs and dwarfs, they are    |
  | Chr:  0 | still planing revenge and often raid travellers that take     |
  |---------+ the road from DaggerFord to Cyldarn.                          |

Orc

  | Int: -3 | eastern mountians where they builded a city. They made a pact |
  | Wis: -3 | with the Giants and Goblins and fought on their side during   |
  | Dex:  0 | the Giantish wars, against the army of Humans, Elfs and       |
  | Con: +1 | Dwarfs.                                                       |
  | Chr:  0 |                                                               |
  |---------+ Orcs seems to have a bound with wargs and other wolfish       |
  | creatures and they can give them order and mount them. To do so, use    |
  | the command : oder warg follow                                          |
  | Orc players will never be attacked by goblins or giants. As members of  |

  | Chr:  0 | Lizardmen worship an ancient black dragon that live somewhere |
